Booking the Best Activities
While some travelers want nothing more than to spend their vacation relaxing on the beach with a good book, most people venturing into foreign lands want to fill their days with sightseeing and adventures. Planning how you will explore a city can – and should – be done ahead of time. We’ve rounded up our favorite Travel Activity Resources to help other travelers plan their trip!
Travel Activity Resources
A fantastic one-stop-shop resource for planning activities – from city walking tours to multi-day trips – is Viator. The site, which has been around for 15+ years, lists more than 60,000 worldwide activities and includes reviews from fellow travelers.
Get Your Guide offers a similar platform and sometimes has unique activities not found elsewhere.
We recommend taking a look at both websites and finding the activities for your trip that will make memories to last a lifetime!
Destination Sightseeing Cards
In addition to tours and activities, it’s important to research destination sightseeing cards prior to your trip. The various cards offer different perks that are valid for one or more days and you’ll want to make sure you can use it for the activities that most appeal to you and not waste money by buying a card that you can’t use. It often makes sense to purchase the city cards in advance, as many city cards include public transportation, which can be a big help from the moment you reach your destination. (Both Viator and Get Your Guide offer destination cards – and include user reviews! – so it’s a good place to start your search.)
