Of all the countries we have been to, Switzerland is the one we’ve spent the least amount of time in. It also happens to be one the most expensive destinations in the world…which directly affected the length of our stay!)
We detoured to Zurich, Switzerland to meet up with a group of our friends who were there to watch the USA soccer team play Switzerland. We had a blast meeting up with our friends and watching the game (even though it ended in a tie), but carved out enough time to see the Zurich city sights, too.
We've since returned to Switzerland and visited the wonderful city of Basel on the Rhine River housesitting two cool cats.
