The beach is amazing, lots of good restaurants. Chutneys, Sunset Garden, Mosaic. Sun loungers available but not in the best place. Recommend hiring a car so that you can see the interior of the island, the Black River Gorge is stunning.

When I arrived the apartment was not really clean. But the really nice and helpful staff cleaned properly the next day. I really want to thank the staff for the support - not only for cleaning - they really help you to feel comfortable. The apartment is just great with a balcony and a wonderful roof garden. The beach and all the supermarkets and restaurants are not far - you can walk.
A wonderful place for a great holiday!!

A delightful place to stay, plenty of restaurant to choose from.
Lots of shops and everything available.
Easy transport available. Other parts of the country can be visited without any problems. Near by Casela,, domain Anna and all the beaches were accessible. Lovely restaurant like Bougainville, Zoub Express, Ah youn, Chez PEPE and others are very pleasant. Street foods were also safe and tasty.

Being on the west coast of the island means that it isn't as windy as the east coast or as wet i.e. rainy. The beach is sheltered by a coral reef; as are many of the beaches on Mauritius but there are also resident pods of bottlenose and spinner dolphins off of the west coast of the island.
The boat trips to swim with dolphins and also visit the island on the SW coast of Mauritius go from Flic-en-Flac beach so cost a lot less than from other parts of the island - worth visiting more than one tour operator to get the best price.
Flic-en-Flac is not too far from the airport and being about half way up it is easy to get to most parts of the island in a day to see things.
Lots of restaurants to choose from too.

There are many wonderful places to dine around Flic en Flac with restaurants to cater to everyone's tastes.
There is a big supermarket, some bars and on weekends the place is livelier with music and sega shows. (not to be missed)
The beach is clean and the lagoon is clear and safe to swim.
Sand is clean and there are Filao trees to keep you in the shade.
The water is warm throughout the day.
There is a big shopping mall 10 mins away where you have modern shops, bowling alley, clubs, food places including Mcdonalds and KFC.
The local cuisine is so good so we tried to eat local whenever possible.
We went to Grand Baie which is very nice too but we preferred the charm of Flic en Flac and Flic en Flac was more relaxing.
The best decision we have made regarding the trip to Mauritius has been to stay in this apartment.
Not only for the comforts it offers, since nothing is missing and you feel at home, but also for the kindness of Johanna, who took time to explain the surroundings and much more to us. She is an incredible woman!!
The apartment is in great condition, practically new and very well located. Only 2 min from the beach and with many restaurants around.
We are going to miss the breakfasts on that beautiful terrace and the baths in that beautiful pool.
We loved everything about Le Kokoti! It was very comfortable to come back to after a day at the beach or exploring Flic en Flac. The beach was just a minute walk away and plenty of restaurants also within walking distance. Bina made our experience wonderful and accommodated us when we told her we’d be arriving earlier than we thought. there’s secure parking available for those with a car. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. When we come back to this area, we will be staying at Le Kokoti again!
Excellent accommodation, close to the beach, with few accommodation rooms which give us the atmosphere if a cosy place. Breakfast is excellent, parking places available at the property.
I was impressed by the kindness of some of the staff, especially the guardian (during the night they have a guardian to make sure the area is protect even if I think is not really necessary), which is a wise person, explaining me the history of Mauritius and some other usefully info about places around.
- Kids club had energetic and attentive supervisors who were dedicated to ensuring kids have a fantastic time.
- The beach was excellent for swimming.
- The weather conditions did not allow for full experience of offered complimentary water activities (pedal boat/ glass bottom boat/ sailing/ snorkeling).
- The dining experience was excellent as they had daily themed dinners (French, Island style, Mexican) with particularly exceptional pastries and pizzas.
Located on the west side of the island, this hotel features multiple pools, but the Inifiniti pool is really amazing for the fact that you can experience from it, one of the best sunsets i have ever seen in my life., and you can swim even after sunset.
Great food for both breakfast and dinner.
Best praise i can do, in general, for any hotel, is saying that i would return again to it, and this is the case with Hilton Hotel Mauritius.
This small boutique hotel met all my expectations and even went beyond it in many ways. The location of the place is simply stunning, you have the most beautiful view from the pool side.
The restaurant was also amazing, the best diner we've had during our whole journey was here, the chef is excellent :)
The staff was super friendly, professional and patient and ready to help us whenever needed. Absolutely recommend!
We were in Mauritius for the first time and were happy to find this awesome Appartement to stay. The Appartement looks the same as you can see on the picture. It’s very clean and fully equipped. You have everything you need and more. Sheel, the owner, is always available and very helpful. She responds within very short time if you ask her somesthing. We stayed there for 14 days and would come back any time.
My mother stayed here 2 years ago and she recommended for me , patrick hotel manager is so kind, he let me use shower after my check-out because I went to beach and my flight was in the evenning, breakfast is good, fruits, croissants, jam, juice, fresh omelette etc. area is nice close to beach, shops, restaurants. Room was quite big and most importantly very clean, I would stay here again and again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is so conveniently located - within walking distance of the beach as well as multiple restaurants and bars. The host is such a friendly and lovely lady who made us feel right at home. We will definitely be booking with Residence Dream Lodge on our next trip to Mauritius.
I loved everything about the Hilton Hotel. The staff are friendly and polite. The gardens at night are so beautiful with the lighting. The pool area is always clean. We had a Deluxe room, it was awesome. Thank you for making our holiday so special. We are planning to come back in January.
The hosts were very nice. We felt like home away from.home. Such a nice location of the apartment
1-2 min walk from.the beach . The apartment was super cozy. My mother and sister liked the ambiance of the residence . Flic en Flac is one of the most beautiful areas of Mauritius.
Nice villa, 3 double bedrooms, 3-4 bathrooms, a lot of storage space, washer/drier, enough space for 5-6 people.
Well equipped kitchen, good terraces on both floors. 2 dinning tables outside. 3 minutes walk to the beach.
Small market nearby. 5 minutes drive to supermarket.
The location is perfect, in a quiet area only 10 minutes from the beach and the shops. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the bathroom modern and clean. Staff is very helpful. The swimming pool is very pleasant.
Nice Place to stay.
Was quite calm, good food, friendly staff.
Nice pool and private beach.
We didn't go the beach because 2 cyclones hit Mauritius in the last 10 days but the view it's very beautiful.
- Lady at the front desk was very welcoming.
- Location is good; the beach is just in front; it’s just a little bit far compared to all the other hotels and restaurants.
Amazing location, best value for money maybe in whole Mauritius. Very large apartment with oceanfront and huge terrace. The host and his staff were very helpful.
The location was handy for the Flic en Flac shops and beach. The pool is nice and lovely to have access to. There are two bathrooms. Lots of power points.
