I did not like this hotel. The room was clean and it was quiet but they had all their quests on the first floor. It was extremely hot with no fan so you had to open the window wide for ventilation. The window was less than four feet from the ground so anyone could climb in. It did not feel secure. It was suffer the heat and be secure or open the window and take your chance. there was no fan. The room is very basic, no coffee, no ability to make tea, an ok breakfast. I came because they had a restaurant on site but it was closed on Sunday so I was out of luck.

FAQs about hotels in Warsaw

Always on the Move

A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War II. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.

Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.

Other cultural features are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.

Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centers than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.

Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

    We've already visited Warsaw twice.

We've already visited Warsaw twice. And there's still more to explore. We used public transport which is very easy to understand and connects most areas of the city. There's plenty of good food restaurants and attractions.

The old town is remarkable with so many historic features.

The old town is remarkable with so many historic features. It is amazing that it was rebuilt like it was so authentically. So many interesting monuments and references to its history. Very good museums. Would recommend the Copernicus planetarium and museum and the museum of the Warsaw Uprising. Area around 'Stalin's present' The Palace of Culture not so good. Where we stayed (Powisle) had a vibrancy of the young and much improved to what it was like 30 years ago and only 1k from the old town.

A very beautiful city with a vast variety of things to see and do! The best experience was attending the open-air Chopin concerts in the Lazienki park! There are many beautiful palaces and parks to visit and the city is very clean, green and safe. You must also try local food with some of the best dishes we tried being the famous pierogis, the sour rye soup served in a bread bowl, and the potato pancakes. Also, don't forget to taste the different fruity vodkas. The only negative experience was getting fined in public transport simply because we didn't understand the rules and we used our Greek student cards to buy a reduced fare ticket. Extreme lack of understanding, hospitality and willingness to help tourists by the controllers!

You can't blame Warsaw for WW2.

You can't blame Warsaw for WW2. The city was demolished The Warsaw Ghetto which is now a modern city was levelled as shown in a 3D movie in the Warsaw Ghetto Museum. The city still has some of its older charms. Its an important history lesson to visit Warsaw but the city is rising higher every day.

The broken front door lock and the non-working AC made our stay very difficult. We paid for AC specifically because someone in our party had asthma and opening windows was not possible due to summer pollen. We reported the non working AC and were told it had been broken for some time, which means the apartment was falsely advertised. And there were no other apts available for us to move into. The owner was very rude to my husband and to myself, and refused to provide any compensation other than a free breakfast, which does not help with breathing issues. We cannot recommend this property because it does not have working AC, the front door lock is broken, and the owner is very rude and takes advantage of clients.

Is a beautiful city to visit.

Is a beautiful city to visit. The Old Town is a beautiful place to visit and there are plenty of sights to see. €4 for a pint of beer and sitting outside to drink and enjoy it. The vodka museum was another great trip and not to far or expensive in a taxi. Beautiful food and not too expensive. Very friendly and safe city to visit if going with children or on a girls trip.

This is quite simply a great hotel very near Warsaw Train station and also near a tram stop for journeys to the Old Town. The room was cool, quiet with very comfortable and generously sized beds. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice and even sparkling wine if you can manage it. It’s not a cheap hotel but we thought it was well worth the money for the last two nights of our trip. If you want a quiet night’s sleep ask for a room without a view. (The hotel is on a very busy road but we slept very well)

The location of this property was fabulous, you could even see the Royal Palace walls from the bedroom windows. This was one of the best places we stayed at in Poland. The space of the apartment was great, all the amenities you need were available. Close to buses and trams, making it easy to get around if you want to leave old town.
