Our 5-month stay in Costa Rica was spent in the itty-bitty town of Zancudo, population 400 - which isn't the easiest place to get to. We were there to housesit (and get some much-needed work done on our blog!), which didn’t leave too much time for exploring. However, we were able to fit in a trip to search for wildlife on the Osa Peninsula, a day trip to the surfing town of Pavones, a few boating trips with friends and border runs to Panama. The nature in Costa Rica astounded us and most of our free time was spent outdoors enjoying the sea and sunsets.
