We flew to New Zealand from Moorea, French Polynesia with a purpose: we had to get to the Vietnam embassy in Wellington so we could apply for our visas. The process can be done online now, but we absolutely fell for Wellington. We stayed for two weeks, which allowed us plenty of time to check out the fantastic nature (including a trip to the Seal Colony) and the amazing NZ craft beer scene.
We spent another week in Titirangi Beach, a bush town near Auckland. We hiked along the shoreline, as well as spent time in touring Auckland and Devonport.
